About

Reverend Billy & the Stop Shopping Choir: The Fabulous Unknown

A unique choir taking on the multinational corporate funders of fossil fuel with song, humour and action. Earth-A-Lujah!

Come hear the music, the song, the tunes, the dynamism, the humour and the passion of the ecstatic environmentalism. Hailing all the way from New York, this troupe of activist minstrels fills the room with high energy performance and song with a call to action.

About the Stop Shopping Choir

A radical performance community using music, language and creative direct action. The Stop Shopping Choir opposes mono-culture in the broadest terms: consumerism, militarism and capitalism’s attack on nature. They focus their energy on hyper-local and global issues, which often intersect.

At times working in coalition, but also approaching things alone and very much on their own terms, the Choir confront and contend with racism and economic inequality within their community and organise with the understanding that both are at the heart of nearly every issue. They work for the Earth.
