About

Join us for an evening of short ‘n’ sharp new ‘Live Art’, featuring alternative cabaret, live music, and radical performances before the festive season really kicks in.

At this very special Live Art Social we are excited to be showcasing some local queer talent. Expect thrills, spills and some dancing to round off the night!

The lineup!

Bones Tan Jones is a London-based artist, musician and performer. Bones’s work is a spiritual practice that seeks to present an alternative, queer, optimistic dystopia. YaYa Bones is their musical alter-ego, who writes protest music for witches, non-binary love songs and apocalyptic lullabies for the gestation phase of the nu-awakening.

MIRI a 19 year old, mixed-race, trans man born and raised in Brighton. Miri’s game is emotional acoustic bangers that usually leave the audience in tears.

Ebony Rose Dark is your all-singing, all-dancing, lip syncing, storytelling, miming VIP, visually-impaired, cabaret/performance artist. Ebony Rose Dark is known for her performances around Disability, Ableism, racism, and relationships within the LGBTQ+ community.

Whiskey Chow is a London-based artist, activist and Chinese drag king. Her film, you must everywhere wander 你必顧盼 showcases an imaginative queer masculine body-scape, where the spices used in Chinese cooking grow as spectacular natural landscapes.

Rowdy SS works at the intersections of sound, music, dance, movement and live art performance alongside making video. International performances and works have explored love, energy, emotions, feelings, explored identity and the societal constructs surrounding them.

Estabrak’s work is multi-sensory in approach. She uses live techniques, film, projection, sound, performance, paint, installation, (underwater) photography, sculpture, words and public participation to help highlight and dismantle ignored sociopolitical realities.
