Carnesky’s Live Archive

In this surreal and unsettling year where theatre’s have gone dark and festivals are fallow, we have taken the opportunity to delve into Carnesky Productions archive unearthing 25 years of radical performance documentation. From the DIY punk roots of the Dragon Ladies (1997), to the fairground splendor of Carnesky’s Ghost Train (2004-14) and most recently Dr Carnesky’s Incredible Bleeding Woman (2017-19), Marisa Carnesky has always been a ‘Showwoman’, collaborating with an extraordinary range of artists and makers to realise her creative visions. We have built the ‘Live Archive’, a digital installation showcasing this feminist body of work and we can’t wait for you to take a trip into the past with us for solace, for inspiration, for the will to keep smashing the patriachy for another 25 years.
